Kicked in the Ass

It's been a few days since I've written anything here worth posting. Those days are gone and I would love to post a few choice comments, but have decided to bite my tongue. It's time to move on and regroup one's thoughts, because thinking of what could or might have been is not what life is about.

Do you dwell in the past, well I sure try not to, forgive yourself for your past transgressions and move on. That's what I am trying like hell to do.

I think it is high time to change a lot of things, so am out there looking at new jobs, the old one has cut my hours in half and, well, they really can't afford to loose me, but they are trying real hard at this. So, I am going to try and give them a helping hand at this.

So yesterday, I did some homey things, certainly not cleaning and mowing the lawn, but got into one of my favorite things to do, cookin. So, if you check out my other blog, Cookin For Fun, you will see a couple updates and yes, yesterday I made some Buffalo Wings. First you have to run around your back yard naked to catch those Winged Buffalos. After you catch them, then you cook them and eat um. God, I love Buffalo Wings. Your other option is to go to the market and buy some chicken wings, they will taste almost as good as the ones you could have caught in your back yard. Winged buffalo are sneaky, they can only be seen when your running around your back yard naked.

So, for this afternoon, I have to make a big choice, mow the lawn or bottle my beer that is sitting there just waiting to be bottled. Yes, I make home brew and home made wine and even some mead. Though, I still like making the beer the best, least amount of trouble and it's ready to drink in four weeks, never mind this 1 to 2 years to be drinkable. I also have a small wine cooler, one of those small refrigerators designed to keep your wine just the right temperature. Well, I am also using it for my beer, I bought some 22 oz bottles for the beer, so when you open one of those, you know you got some drinking to do.

My absolutely most beloved beer is an IPA, India Pale Ale, novices take notice here. Back when those sailing ships would bring beer to those british troops in India, they weren't bringing just any beer, it was IPA. As strong in alcohol as they could get it and heavily hopped to help preserve the ale. Ah, those were the days of the Great British Empire.
